Job summary

Shirley Contracting Company is seeking experienced Crane Operators in Richmond, VA and nearby job sites to operate hydraulic and cable cranes safely and efficiently. You will maintain daily logs, perform inspections, and support project teams on busy, multi-site construction projects.

The role requires NCCO certification and a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and willingness to perform general labor when needed.

Qualifications

• NCCO certification required or appropriate.
• Valid driver’s license needed.
• Clean driving record with no major violations in 7 years.

Responsibilities

• Operate hydraulic and/or cable cranes on site.
• Maintain daily logs, safety and inspection reports, and project reports.
• Perform basic maintenance: grease, check fluid levels, clean tracks.
• Daily cleaning of equipment and reporting deficiencies to foreman.
• Willingness to perform manual labor to support projects and uphold safety culture.
