Job summary

Callan Marine is seeking a Crane Operator to operate the crane and other assigned equipment safely and productively. The role requires NCCCO certification and the ability to work aboard company equipment, including on remote projects.

You will conduct JSAs, drills, and maintain accurate time reporting while supporting maintenance, spares inventory, and safety initiatives. Ideal candidates have at least five years of crane experience in marine construction or dredging and can communicate

Qualifications

• Five years of crane experience in marine construction/dredging.
• Ability to operate crane and related equipment.
• Proficient in safety procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel to remote project locations.

Responsibilities

• Operation of crane and other assigned equipment
• Conducting JSAs on your shift
• Conducting monthly drills on your shift
• Proper accounting of time for operations
• Ensure crane, barge and support equipment is maintained per maintenance program
• Keep inventory of spares and consumables
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Participates in Safety and Environmental initiatives
