Job summary

Archer Western de Moya JV, a member of The Walsh Group, is seeking a Crane Operator for the Miami Signature Bridge project in Miami, FL. The role requires operating a crane at the site and assisting with related duties on a heavy civil construction site.

Responsibilities include rigging guidance, beam setting, load handling, and daily safety checks. Candidates should have 3–5 years of crane operation experience, a valid crane operator license, and the ability to pass a drug screen.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years operating experience preferred.
• Requires crane operator license.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may work in adverse weather.
• Must comply with safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
• Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn.
• Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Operates a Crane to complete tasks such as driving pylons, setting beams, directing and assisting with rigging.
• Must have knowledge of operating procedures as it pertains to loading and unloading materials.
• Oil, grease, service and perform maintenance checks on equipment; complete safety checks and paperwork.
• May perform other related duties as required.
