Job summary

PBF Energy is seeking a skilled Crane Operator/Rigger Mechanic at the Martinez Refinery in California. The role focuses on selecting and operating cranes and heavy equipment for maintenance, turnaround, and construction activities, with rigging leadership and safety at the core.

Qualified candidates will have NCCCO TLL/TSS, a Commercial CDL, and a valid TWIC card, plus the ability to work varied shifts including standby. The position offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 5+ years of heavy equipment operation experience.
• NCCCO TLL and TSS certifications or ability to obtain within probation.
• Commercial Class A or B license and active TWIC card.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Rig and signal lifts, selecting slings, hooks, and rigging gear.
• Inspect and service equipment; perform disassembly/assembly and adjust lines.
• Lead and instruct others in setting up rigging for lifts.
