Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is seeking a Crane Operator on 1st shift in Wisconsin to support the Lincoln Avenue production line by operating a 25-ton overhead crane and assisting with assembly tasks. The role requires prep work for painters, oven operation, and coordination with final assembly teams.

The position offers hourly pay between $24.45 and $25.92, with weekly pay, shift premiums, and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Operate the 25-ton overhead crane to support production.
• Assist Painters by prepping units, operating ovens.
• Assist Final Assemblers with bolted cover assembly, cabinet installation, and throat installation.
• Build pallets and shrink wrap transformers; unload/retrieve tanks and cabinets.
• Operate material handling equipment including walkies, forklifts, and overhead cranes.
• Back-up to Material Attendants for unloading interplant trucks.

The function will require operation of an overhead crane.In this function, you will:Assist Painters by prepping units, operating ovens, and operating the 25-ton crane.Assist Final Assemblers with bolted cover assembly, cabinet installation, and throat installation.Determine from the Order Process Sheet what parts need to be kitted for Final Assembly. This includes assembling kits, unloading/retrieving tanks, and cabinets.Build pallets per specifications and shrink wrap transformers.Operate all material handling equipment such as walkies, forklifts, and overhead cranes.Assist Welders by building covers, leak testing, retrieving tanks/radiators, and crane operation.Serve as a back-up to Material Attendants to help unload interplant trucks and deliver materials to Final AssemblyQualifications:Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institutionMinimum of one year of overhead crane experience.Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of the Waukesha, WI facility.
