Olympic Steel is seeking a Crane Operator to safely transfer materials in the warehouse on the 1st shift, 7:00am–3:00pm, Monday through Friday. The role requires knowledge of cranes, lifting devices, and daily safety checks. Banding, packaging, and tow-motor operation are additional duties.
Qualified candidates should have forklift experience, be mechanically inclined, and demonstrate safety and quality consciousness. Basic math and computer familiarity are preferred.

The Crane Operator is responsible for safe efficient transfer of materials in the warehouse. Candidate must possess knowledge and skills of the capabilities, limitations and mechanical state of cranes, lifting devices and attachments. The person in this position is required to inspect the work area and machines and equipment daily for safe working conditions. Must be safety and quality conscious. Other duties: operating banding equipment, packaging material and tow-motor operation.
$24.32 - $25.43 per hour
