Job summary

MasTec Industrial seeks a skilled Crane Operator to operate lifting equipment and oversee rigging on assigned cranes. Responsibilities include planning lifts, inspecting rigging per load charts, calculating capacities, and performing daily safety checks. Strong English, NCCCO certification, and five years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years verifiable crane operation experience.
• NCCCO/NCCER or approved third-party crane operator certification.
• Ability to read and interpret load charts.
• English fluency and on-site toolbox participation.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile crane and move materials safely.
• Participate in lift planning.
• Inspect rigging and ensure configurations meet load charts.
• Calculate lifting capacities and center of gravity.
• Perform daily safety checks and maintain equipment.
• Coordinate with installation crews for material movement.
• Complete documentation and limited office duties.
• Follow OSHA and project safety requirements.
• Travel to project sites as required.
