Job Summary

Operate hydraulic rough terrain cranes with a capacity of under 80 tons. Responsible for lifting and moving materials, machines, or products in various directions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Determine load weights and check against lifting capacity to prevent overload.
2. Operate cranes using levers, foot pedals, or dials for lifting, moving, or placing loads.
3. Inspect and adjust crane mechanisms or lifting accessories to prevent malfunctions or damage.
4. Direct helpers in placing blocking or outrigging.
5. Maintain equipment in good working condition.
6. Ensure loads are secured before moving.
7. Review work or delivery schedules and follow loading instructions.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

• Must have an NCCCO Certification.

Experience

• Previous experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Capable of performing skilled labor for up to 12 hours daily.
• Dependable with high integrity.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

Work Location and Travel

• Located at 1171 Grill Road, Van Wert, OH 45891.
• Requires daily travel within Florida and occasional travel outside Florida, including overnight stays.

Work Environment

• Full-time, variable hours including weekends and some overnight work.
• Safety-sensitive role in potentially hazardous environments with exposure to chemicals, heavy machinery, and harsh weather.
• Must pass drug screens, physicals, and background checks.

Physical Requirements

• Effective communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Good vision for monitoring crane operations.
• Ability to lift and handle tools and equipment.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, adhering to safety protocols.
