Job Opportunity: Crane Operator

A Southland Holdings company is seeking an experienced Crane Operator with Lattice and Hydraulic Crane experience to join our team in Carrollton, TX.

Requirements:

• License or nationally accredited certification required.
• At least 1-2 years of experience with NCCCO and NCCER certifications required.
• Experience operating Lattice and Hydraulic Cranes.
• Physically capable of navigating rugged terrain and working in all weather conditions.
• Knowledge of sub-base materials, aggregation placement, and safety procedures.
• Ability to read locate sheets and identify underground and overhead utilities.
• Must pass post-offer drug screening.

Responsibilities:

• Operate lattice boom and hydraulic cranes.
• Handle and move materials, including concrete piles.
• Maintain daily logs of equipment usage and maintenance.
• Perform daily equipment maintenance, identify and report hazards.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental rules to ensure a safe work environment.
• Read locate sheets for underground and overhead utilities.
• Apply analytical and problem-solving skills.
