Position Description

Successfully operates cranes to discharge cargo from vessels to shore.

Position Requirements

1. Safely and efficiently operate cranes and related gear to transfer materials
2. Maintain and repair cranes as trained and instructed
3. Assist in troubleshooting and repairing equipment
4. Assist as required in transferring and storing materials using conveyors, rolling equipment, and related tools
5. Participate in operational, safety, and environmental training as assigned
6. Perform other duties as instructed by management
7. Work a rotating schedule as assigned
8. Be available for non-scheduled shifts as needed
9. Work outdoors in all weather conditions
10. Climb stairs up to 80 feet
11. Meet physical and medical requirements for Crane Operator per OSHA 1917.27
12. Secure a TWIC Card
