Job summary

Flatiron Construction Corp. seeks a skilled heavy equipment operator in Dallas, TX, to drive and control machinery used for road and structure construction.

You will coordinate with crew using signals and ensure equipment is maintained and safe for daily operation. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma (preferred) and experience with construction equipment; NCCCO lattice boom crawler crane certification is required for this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Experience with construction equipment (preferred).
• NCCCO certification for lattice boom crawler crane is required.

• Drive, maneuver, or control the heavy machinery used to construct roads and other structures.
• Cleans and maintains equipment, making basic repairs as necessary.
• Moves levers, pushes pedals, or turns valves to control equipment and drives/maneuvers it.
• Coordinates machine actions with crew members using hand or audio signals.
• Performs additional assignments per management’s direction.

What you will be doing

• Maintains knowledge of Company’s values and strategic plan.
• Performs additional assignments per management’s direction.

What we are looking for

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with construction equipment preferred.
• NCCCO certification for Lattice boom crawler crane required.
