Job summary

TMD Staffing is seeking a Production Crane Operator for the East Houston area. You will safely operate overhead cranes to lift, move, and position steel materials and products, load and unload steel coils, beams, plates, and other heavy items, and move materials throughout the facility.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of crane operating experience, preferably in a steel or manufacturing setting, with knowledge of rigging, load handling, and crane safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of crane operating experience.
• Experience operating overhead cranes in steel/manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of rigging, load handling, and crane safety procedures.
• Ability to safely move and position heavy steel materials.
• Strong attention to safety and dependability for the shift.
• Must be able to work the scheduled shift.

Production Crane operator – East Houston

Job Responsibilities:

• Safely operate overhead cranes to lift, move, and position steel materials and products.
• Load and unload steel coils, beams, plates, and other heavy materials.
• Move materials throughout the facility and production areas.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of previous crane operating experience required.
• Experience operating overhead cranes in a steel or manufacturing facility preferred.
• Knowledge of proper rigging, load handling, and crane safety procedures.
• Ability to safely handle and move heavy steel materials.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Must be dependable and able to work the assigned shift.

Schedule: Monday–Friday

Pay Rate: $20.00/hour

Shift: 2:00 PM – 11:30 PM
