Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Working knowledge of crane operating systems preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of mechanic repair and maintenance experience on heavy equipment.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Experience reading electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Strong communication skills and safety awareness.
• Valid driver's license; ability to obtain CDL.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient and safe maintenance functions.
• Inspect, evaluate and recommend repairs or replacements for equipment and vehicles.
• Perform maintenance and modify equipment to keep it in optimal order.
• Maintain inventory of repair parts and supplies with accurate records.
• Adhere to preventive maintenance programs for all equipment.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with other departments and teams.
• Keep management informed of maintenance status and issues.
• Perform repairs in shop or in the field as required.
