Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Working knowledge of crane operating systems, preferred.
• Minimum 2 years mechanic repair and maintenance experience with heavy equipment.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of heavy equipment.
• Working knowledge of structural and mechanical construction.
• Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must pass background screening, pre-employment drug and physical screens.
• Valid driver license with ability to obtain CDL.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair company property and equipment in yard or field.
• Follow preventive maintenance programs and manage parts inventory.
• Keep accurate maintenance records and logs.
• Coordinate activities between maintenance and other departments.
• Stay current with technology, regulations, and recall notices.
• Perform equipment repairs in shop or on job sites as required.
