Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy equipment, cranes, or industrial machinery.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems and high voltage electrical equipment.
• Welding/certification for 3G/4G preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Union position; wages determined per Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, tests, and repairs low to high voltage electrical equipment, including circuits, transformers, high voltage switches, and motor control centers.
• Maintenance of motor repair, including Cummins Hybrid maintenance, hydraulic systems, troubleshooting, repair, and CAN bus systems.
• Reads, interprets, and assists in the design of electrical/electronic schematics, mechanical/instrumentation drawings, wiring diagrams for installation, service, and repair.
• On-site electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic troubleshooting to determine causes and perform repairs.
• May perform Welding / Fabrication 3G and 4G.
• Ensures operational condition of machinery by completing preventive maintenance and ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Analyze and diagnose malfunctions, defects, damage, or wear.
• Repair or replace malfunctioning components and subassemblies.
• Regularly test overhauled equipment for efficiency.
• Maintain maintenance files and safety procedures with PPE.
• All other duties as assigned by management.
