Job summary

Wilkerson Crane Rental, Inc. is seeking an Oiler for Crane Operator to provide essential support by performing routine maintenance, inspections, and lubrication on cranes and related equipment. The role ensures safe and efficient crane operation and minimizes downtime due to mechanical issues.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
2+ years crane maintenance and rigging experience preferred.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures for equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

Perform routine crane maintenance including greasing, oiling, and lubricating moving parts.
Inspect cables, ropes, pulleys, and hooks for wear or damage.
Clean and maintain crane engines, hydraulics, and electrical components as scheduled.
Replace worn parts (filters, belts, hoses) to prevent breakdowns.
Monitor hydraulic fluids, gearboxes, and engine levels; top up as needed.
Keep maintenance records of lubrication schedules and inspections.
