Job summary

Acuren Inspection is seeking a Crane Inspector Trainee to support operations in Davenport, IA and surrounding areas. This is a callout/travel position with the plan to work remote once trained.

The role requires a high school diploma and a willingness to travel overnight, with training provided to inspect cranes and lifting devices across various industrial environments such as corn/agriculture, mechanical shops, pipelines, and chemical plants.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• OSHA 10 HR Safety and/or TWIC card are a plus.
• Knowledge of basic operations of manlifts, forklifts, and overhead cranes/hoists.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Technical background desired.
• Background check for trustworthy & reliable per client requirements.
• Motor vehicle driving record must meet company standards.
• Ability to pass drug/alcohol and background screen.

Responsibilities

• Support operations in Davenport, IA and surrounding area.
• Train as an inspection technician for crane and lifting device safety.
• Work in environments such as corn/agricultural, mechanical shops, pipeline, chemical and gas plants.
• Travel overnight as required and maintain flexibility with travel demands.
• Follow safety and quality procedures and contribute to a safe, reliable operation.
