Job summary

Acuren is seeking a Carded Radiographer to support operations in Davenport, IA. This callout/travel position requires you to set up and use NDT equipment, assist with calibration, and help carry out inspections to ensure quality and detect discontinuities.

You will record results and support the team with various field tasks. Qualified candidates must have the 40 Hr Radiation Safety certification and a High School Diploma or equivalent, with some college preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Carded Radiographer certification (40 hr Radiation Safety).
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen per client requirements.
• Driving record must meet company standards to drive company vehicles.

THIS WILL BE A CALLOUT/TRAVEL POSITION.

Responsibilities

• Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment
• Assist Radiographers in the calibration of NDT equipment
• Assist Radiographers to conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
• Record results of inspections
• Assist performing NDT procedures, carrying equipment and other operations
• Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

• 40 Hr Radiaton Safety - MUST BE CARDED RADIOGRAPHER
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Some college preferred
• Technical background desired
• Must be able to have experience, credentials and history to be certified as Trustworthy & Reliable to comply with federal and state regulations, as determined by a thorough background check
• Motor Vehicle Driving record must meet company standards to drive company vehicles
• MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUG/ALCOHOL AND BACKGROUND SCREEN PER CLIENT REQUIREMENTS.
