Job summary

Central Stone Company in St. Louis, Missouri, is seeking a Crane & Heavy Equipment Operator to support our Jefferson Barracks location. This full-time, hourly role works with the local Operators 513, Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays depending on season.

You will operate Manitowoc 4000 crane, Komatsu PC650 excavator, Grove 70t crane, and other quarry equipment, performing pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance while adhering to MSHA safety and environmental rules.

Responsibilities

• Operate Manitowoc 4000 crane unloading barges and Grove 70t crane unloading railcar cargo and other quarry equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and pre-shift inspections; repair/clean equipment as needed.
• Communicate with plant management on safety, maintenance, and production needs.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Central Stone has an immediate opening for a Crane & Heavy Equipment Operator position at our Jefferson Barracks location, in St. Louis , MO. This is a full-time, hourly position with the local Operators 513, working day hours, Monday – Friday, with occasional Saturdays depending on the season.

Major Crane & Heavy Equipment Operator responsibilities include:

• Follow all safety and environmental rules, regulations and procedures as set forth by company policies and MSHA
• Operating Manitowoc 4000 Crane unloading barges, operating Komatsu PC650 excavator unloading fertilizer barges, Grove 70t crane unloading rebar from railcars, operating various quarry equipment, and performing maintenance on terminal processing equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and pre-shift inspections; repair and/or clean equipment as needed
• Communicate with plant management team on all safety, maintenance, and production needs
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor
