Qualifications

• Requires at least 1 year operating a 10-20 ton overhead crane.

• Experience in steel service center or fabrication preferred.
• Ability to read work orders and use measuring tools.
• Commitment to safety and accurate material handling.

Responsibilities

• Operate remote-controlled cranes (10-20 ton) to move steel materials.
• Load, unload, and transport steel beams and plates.
• Build and stage customer orders per work orders.
• Maintain material locations for efficient workflow.
• Ensure materials are identified, labeled, and handled safely.
• Assist operators and production teams by supplying materials.
• Use hand tools to prepare material setups.
• Inspect cranes daily; report safety issues.
• Follow safety rules and keep area clean.
