Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Journeyperson or Red Seal Electrician certificate.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing.
• Must have a clean driver's abstract.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine layouts of electrical equipment installations.
• Install, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring and components.
• Test electrical and electronic equipment for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
• Maintain, repair, test, and install switchgear, transformers, and control systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical and electronic control systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and keep maintenance records.
