Job summary

Strike Group is seeking an Industrial Apprentice Electrician to install, connect, test, and maintain electrical systems for climate control, security, lighting, power sources and communications. With shops in Calgary, Fort Saskatchewan, Bonnyville, and Saskatoon, the E&I team handles local and site projects across Western Canada.

This role emphasizes safety and adherence to Strike’s Code of Conduct and Values, and supports a culture of safety and teamwork within a reputable industrial

Qualifications

• Must be a registered Apprentice with the appropriate provincial authority.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Install, alter, repair, and maintain various electrical systems and related equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical code specifications.
• Plan layouts and illustrations of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.
• Provide preliminary sketches and cost estimates for materials and services.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards and defects to ensure compliance with codes.
