Job summary

South Shore Millwork Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Millworker to craft custom wood components and cabinetry for luxury homes. You will work from detailed shop drawings and plans to ensure top-fit and finish across high-end residential projects.

Join a premier New England architectural millwork company with a state-of-the-art shop near Boston. This hands-on role requires strong woodworking skills, reliability, and teamwork to meet demanding timelines and exacting design intent.

Qualifications

2-5+ years of experience in millwork, preferably in the residential market.
Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, joinery and finishing standards.
Ability to read and work from shop drawings and specifications; familiarity with hardwoods, veneers, and engineered wood products.
Experience operating a variety of woodworking machinery and hand tools.
Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
CNC experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Fabricate custom residential millwork items, including doors, moldings, wall paneling, and custom items.
Read and interpret shop drawings and stock lists.
Operate woodworking machinery and equipment such as table saws, jointers, planers, sanders, and routers.
Assemble millwork components with precision and attention to detail.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Perform quality checks throughout the fabrication process.
Collaborate with shop leads and production management to meet deadlines and design intent.
