Job summary

South Shore Millwork Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Millworker to craft custom residential millwork and cabinetry for luxury homes. You will work from detailed shop drawings and plans, ensuring fit and finish meets the highest standards.

The role involves reading shop drawings, operating a range of woodworking machinery, and collaborating with shop leads to meet deadlines. Experience with hardwoods, veneers, and engineered wood products is preferred.

Qualifications

2-5+ years of experience in millwork, preferably in the residential market.
Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, joinery, and finishing standards.
Ability to read and work from shop drawings and specifications.
Familiarity with hardwoods, veneers, and engineered wood products.
Experience operating a variety of woodworking machinery and hand tools.
Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
CNC experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Fabricate custom residential millwork items per shop drawings and specs.
Read and interpret shop drawings and stock lists.
Operate woodworking machinery and equipment (table saws, jointers, planers, sanders, routers).
Assemble millwork components with precision and attention to detail.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Perform quality checks throughout fabrication process.
Collaborate with shop leads and production management to meet deadlines and design intent.
