Ace Handyman Services in Wichita, KS is seeking an experienced Craftsman/Handyman to join our growing team. You'll handle residential repairs, maintenance, and remodeling, delivering quality craftsmanship and outstanding customer service on every project.

You’ll perform carpentry, drywall, painting, tile, plumbing, and electrical tasks with pride, carry your own tools, and work in a supportive, locally owned business backed by Ace Hardware.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Carpenter, Craftsman, or Handyman.
• Multi-trade knowledge: drywall, painting, tile, flooring, plumbing, electrical.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Excellent troubleshooting and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of residential repairs and maintenance.
• Complete carpentry, drywall repair, painting, tile installation, and flooring projects.
• Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Install fixtures, doors, trim, cabinets, and other finish carpentry items.
• Troubleshoot repair issues and determine best solutions.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout each project.
• Maintain accurate job documentation and complete work efficiently while upholding high quality standards.

• Proven experience as a Carpenter, Craftsman, or Handyman
• Strong knowledge across multiple trades, including:
• Drywall
• Painting
• Tile
• Flooring
• Basic Plumbing
• Basic Electrical
• Home inspection or estimating experience is a plus
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Professional appearance and strong customer service skills
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Own a standard set of professional tools
• Truck, van, or SUV to use for jobs
