Job summary

TruBlue of East Wake & Northern Johnston County is seeking an experienced Craftsman/Carpenter to perform advanced carpentry and home improvement projects across Wake and Johnston Counties. The role offers full-time work, Monday–Friday, with a pay range of $28–$35 per hour and performance bonuses.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of residential construction experience, strong finish carpentry skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high workmanship standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of paid carpentry, remodeling, or residential construction experience.
• Strong finish carpentry skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Extensive knowledge of residential construction methods and repair techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Comfortable working in occupied homes, including homes of seniors and vulnerable adults.
• Must provide and maintain professional-grade tools.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair doors, trim, cabinetry, flooring, decks, and other residential features.

Our mission is to provide trusted home repair, maintenance, remodeling, and safety modification services that help seniors remain safely in their homes while delivering exceptional service to families throughout our community.

We are seeking an experienced Craftsman / Carpenter with exceptional skills, strong character, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
