Job summary

Thomas Riley Artisans' Guild is seeking an experienced Craftsman to fabricate high-end custom residential millwork, cabinetry, and architectural woodworking projects. The role involves reading blueprints, planning assembly, operating machinery, and ensuring quality from production through installation.

You will collaborate with engineering, finishing, and installation teams, track materials, and maintain parts lists while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of woodworking, millwork, or cabinetry experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong math, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Must provide personal hand tools (tool reimbursement policy applies).
• AutoCAD experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate high-end custom residential millwork and cabinetry from drawings and specifications
• Read blueprints, create cut lists, and plan assembly processes
• Operate woodworking machinery safely and efficiently
• Perform quality control inspections throughout production
• Track materials, maintain parts lists, and document as-built changes
• Work closely with engineering, finishing, operations, and installation teams
• Assist with installation as needed

Qualifications

• 10+ years of woodworking, millwork, or cabinetry experience preferred
• Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience with woodworking machinery, materials, and fabrication methods
• Strong math, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical work
• Must provide personal hand tools (tool reimbursement policy applies)
• AutoCAD experience is a plus

Schedule & Expectations

• Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• Overtime and weekend work are expected when available to support production schedules and project deadlines

• Possession of a valid State Driver License with a clean driving record in accordance with the company’s insurance carrier’s standards may be required.
