Job summary

Ebeacon is seeking a Craft front-end developer to augment the in-house team, building CraftCMS and CraftCommerce sites for B2B manufacturers. You will convert Figma designs to responsive, accessible interfaces using Twig and Tailwind, with AlpineJS and Vue for interactive components.

The role emphasizes collaboration with back-end developers, a project manager and an architect, in a 3-tier testing environment. Remote/contract position; benefits are not provided.

Qualifications

• Proven CraftCMS and CraftCommerce experience for large sites.
• Strong Twig templating and responsive design skills.
• Expertise with Tailwind CSS and modern JS frameworks.
• Experience converting Figma designs to production code.
• Familiarity with Git workflows (Bitbucket) and local development (DDEV).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CraftCMS/CraftCommerce sites.
• Translate designs from Figma into accessible front-end implementations.
• Develop components with Twig, Tailwind, AlpineJS and Vue.js.
• Collaborate with back-end, PM and architect to deliver sites.

Job description

We are looking for a Craft front-end developer to augment our in-house staff building Craft and CraftCommerce sites. We specialize in B2B commerce sites for manufacturers. Past experience building large-scale sites including catalogs and commerce (shipping, taxes, payment systems) is a plus.

We make extensive use of forms (primarily using Formie), custom transactional emails, and provide a wide variety of custom integrations to third-party platforms.

You’ll have demonstrated Craft experience, building responsive and accessible sites using Twig and Tailwind CSS. Designs originate in Figma so past experience converting Figma design and prototypes is required. Javascript usage includes custom code, as well as AlpineJS and Vue.

You’ll work as part of team including back-end developers, a project manager and a strategist/architect to develop, implement, and maintain the site. We rely on Bitbucket repos and local dev (DDEV) with a strict 3-tier testing and release environment so comfort using Git is critical.
