Job summary

apacheip is seeking a Craft Recruiter in Mississippi to lead full-cycle recruitment for skilled craft positions across multiple projects. You will partner with Operations, Project Managers, and Hiring Managers to identify needs, develop strategies, source candidates, and ensure a positive candidate experience from contact to onboarding.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 2–5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably skilled craft, construction, industrial, manufacturing, or energy.
• Experience recruiting high-volume hourly positions preferred.
• Experience using an ATS and LinkedIn Recruiter preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for skilled craft positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating interviews, extending offers, and onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers and operations leaders to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
• Source qualified candidates through job boards, referrals, networking, career fairs, social media, and other channels.
• Maintain an active pipeline of skilled craft candidates for current and future hiring needs.
• Conduct phone screens and evaluate candidates based on qualifications, experience, and project requirements.
• Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates and hiring managers throughout the process.
• Extend verbal offers and coordinate pre-employment steps including background checks, drug screenings, and onboarding.
• Ensure recruitment activities comply with policies and employment laws.
• Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS and track recruiting metrics.
• Build relationships with trade schools, workforce organizations, and industry associations.
• Represent the company at hiring events and career fairs.
• Monitor time-to-fill, source of hire, and offer acceptance rates.
• Provide exceptional customer service to candidates and stakeholders.
