Primoris Renewable Energy is seeking a Craft Talent Acquisition Specialist to support the Talent Acquisition team in recruiting and onboarding craft and project support personnel across utility-scale solar (PV) and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects nationwide. In this role, you will partner closely with Talent Acquisition Leads to execute recruiting strategies and fill critical project support positions, including Safety, Quality, Administrative, Warehouse, and Laborer roles. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment and is passionate about delivering an exceptional candidate experience while helping project teams meet staffing demands.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

Recruitment & Staffing Support Support Talent Acquisition Leads in the full-cycle recruitment process for craft and project support positions across active and upcoming renewable energy projects. Recruit for positions including but not limited to: Safety Coordinators and Managers Quality Technicians and Inspectors General Laborers Other project support and craft-related roles as assigned Source, screen, qualify, and present candidates that align with position requirements and project timelines. Maintain active candidate pipelines through sourcing, networking, referrals, workforce development partnerships, job boards, social media, text campaigns, and direct outreach. Conduct phone screens and interview coordination to support hiring managers and TA Leads. Schedule candidate interviews and facilitate communication throughout the hiring process. Ensure timely movement of candidates through all recruiting stages.

Candidate Experience & Onboarding Support Deliver a positive candidate experience through consistent communication, follow-up, and professionalism. Assist candidates throughout the pre-employment and onboarding process. Coordinate collection of employment documentation and ensure completion of hiring requirements. Answer candidate questions related to employment opportunities, project locations, travel requirements, and onboarding activities. Support the successful transition of candidates from offer acceptance to project mobilization.

Pipeline Development & Outreach Develop and maintain talent pools for recurring project needs across multiple geographic regions. Participate in community outreach efforts, workforce development programs, military hiring initiatives, trade schools, and job fairs. Build relationships with local workforce agencies, community organizations, and industry partners to expand candidate pipelines. Promote Primoris Renewable Energy employment opportunities through various recruiting channels.

Systems, Compliance & Reporting Maintain accurate candidate records and requisition activity within UKG/UltiPro or similar Applicant Tracking Systems. Ensure compliance with company policies, employment laws, and recruitment procedures. Track recruiting metrics and provide updates regarding candidate pipelines, open requisitions, and hiring progress. Support reporting and workforce planning initiatives as requested by Talent Acquisition Leads.

Team Collaboration Work closely with Talent Acquisition Leads, hiring managers, project leadership, and Human Resources to meet staffing goals. Participate in recruiting meetings and staffing strategy discussions. Assist with special recruiting projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

Strong understanding of high-volume recruiting and talent acquisition processes. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities simultaneously. Ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and project leadership. Strong attention to detail and follow-through. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience utilizing UKG/UltiPro or similar Applicant Tracking Systems preferred. Knowledge of construction, renewable energy, craft labor, or industrial recruiting is highly preferred.

Education & Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred. Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered. Minimum of 2+ years of recruiting, staffing, talent acquisition coordination, or workforce development experience preferred. Experience supporting high-volume hiring environments is strongly preferred. Previous experience recruiting for construction, renewable energy, manufacturing, industrial, or skilled labor positions is a plus.
