Job summary

Target is seeking a Starbucks Barista to deliver a welcoming guest experience, craft handcrafted beverages, and uphold food safety standards. You’ll work in a fast-paced, team-oriented Food & Beverage environment, following store procedures and supporting Drive Up and other guest services when needed.

Applicants should be comfortable with flexible hours, physical tasks, and working in a busy retail setting. Training is provided to build Starbucks product knowledge and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Prior Starbucks/food service experience is preferred, but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other tech.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly and accurately.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide a consistent Starbucks experience for guests by ensuring food quality and freshness.
• Follow state and federal food safety guidelines and OSHA rules.
• Greet guests and deliver a warm, helpful interaction at 10ft and 4ft.
• Assist guests in finding items and resolving issues for a smooth experience.
• Maintain food safety and quality through stocking, rotation, cleaning and proper signing.
• Support Drive Up, OPU, and other guest services as needed.
