Job summary

The Whitaker Group is seeking a Server/Bartender to deliver exceptional guest experiences through prompt, courteous service and expert beverage preparation. This role blends order taking, drink making, and attentive service in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include maintaining bar and dining areas, handling cash/charges, and ensuring safety and health regulations are followed to uphold the establishment’s reputation for quality service.

Qualifications

• Legal age to serve alcohol in the United States (18 or 21 depending on state).
• Previous experience in a server or bartender role within a hospitality environment.
• Basic knowledge of drink recipes and beverage preparation techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner to ensure a positive dining and drinking experience.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and deliver them promptly to guests.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Manage cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, dining area, and service stations throughout the shift.
• Monitor guest behavior and consumption to ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with legal requirements.
• Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns.
• Restock bar inventory and supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
