Hard Rock Cafe in New Orleans is seeking a Bartender to craft drinks to recipe specs, take orders, and ensure smooth service. You will also handle payments and guide guests to appropriate areas while delivering friendly, engaging experiences.

Responsibilities include cash handling, POS transactions, maintaining bar cleanliness, stock, label/date/refrigerate items, and upholding responsible alcohol service to create memorable moments for guests.

Responsibilities

• Make drinks according to recipe specifications.
• Demonstrate responsible alcohol service, including proper ID checks for guests who appear under the legal drinking age.
• Serve food and handle cash and other payment forms.
• Process sales transactions using a point-of-sale system.
• Maintain proper cash drawer balances.
• Direct guests to appropriate areas and restrooms.
• Maintain impeccable product knowledge and use suggestive selling techniques.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area.
• Maintain proper product pars through bar pulls and inventories.
• Stock liquor, beer, wine and glassware throughout the shift.
• Properly label, date, cover and refrigerate prepped items.
• Maintain a proper 3‑compartment sink and sanitize equipment, utensils, and glassware.
• Perform opening, closing and side duties such as setting up/breaking down the bar, cleaning glass and countertops, and sweeping the floor.
• Answer questions accurately and politely.
• Create memorable experiences and entertain guests to create “Raving Fans.”
