Job summary

HHG in New Jersey is seeking a Bartender to deliver exceptional beverage service and a warm guest experience. You will craft cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks to brand standards while maintaining a lively bar atmosphere.

You will greet guests, take orders, and suggest pairings; ensure accuracy, monitor intoxication, follow safety guidelines; support the floor and maintain bar inventory, cleanliness, and cash handling.

Qualifications

• Bartending experience in a high-volume or upscale venue preferred.
• Knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, beer, and mixology.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Positive attitude with a focus on guest hospitality and teamwork.
• Must meet the legal age requirements to serve alcohol in New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide a welcoming bar experience.
• Take drink and food orders accurately and serve promptly.
• Recommend cocktails, wine, beer, and food pairings.
• Mix, garnish, and serve drinks per recipes and standards.
• Maintain consistency in flavor, appearance, and portions.
• Develop seasonal cocktails and specials with management.
• Set up and break down the bar daily; maintain cleanliness.
• Maintain par levels for alcohol and communicate reorder needs.
• Handle cash and daily sales reconciliation.
• Support servers by preparing drinks during service.
