Job summary

The Ruby Hotel is seeking a bartender to expertly prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks while creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. You will maintain a stocked, clean bar, accurate cash handling, and smooth operation of the POS system during busy shifts.

This role requires strong customer service, knowledge of liquor laws and safety standards, and the ability to multitask under pressure.

Qualifications

• Experience as a bartender or in a similar role is preferred.
• Experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cocktails, pour beer and wine, and serve non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences.
• Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner; provide menu recommendations.
• Maintain bar inventory, keep the area clean, and ensure equipment is in good working order.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately; balance cash drawers and end-of-shift reports.
• Adhere to local and state liquor laws and health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff; train new bartenders and bar staff.
• Assist with setup and service for events and private functions.
