Job summary

The Allis at Soho House Chicago is seeking a Bartender to prepare beverages, serve food, and provide memorable experiences to guests and members. As a Bartender you are an extension of the brand, management team and global drink program.

You will greet customers, remember preferences, upsell items, and create recipes while maintaining a neat appearance and engaging, friendly service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a high-volume F&B operation.
• Craft cocktail experience and working with seasonally influenced items.
• Experience making coffee drinks is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and deliver drink requests promptly while maintaining consistency.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Flexible schedule and reliability.
• Tips certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow steps of service and company guidelines for preparing cocktails, juices, coffee and drinks used at the bar.
• Maintain a clean and organized section and collaborate with other bartenders; wash glassware and utensils, clean work area.
• Educate guests and members about beverage options learned through trainings.
• Discuss and describe daily specials and food-pairing options to promote sales.
• Accept payment and operate a cash register.
