Job summary

Cornerstone Hospitality Partners of TN is seeking a Bartender to deliver legendary service while preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests. This role requires approachable, social, and attentive individuals who create drinks, know the food and drink menus, and maintain a clean, organized bar area.

You’ll complete all Kennedy Concepts training, greet customers, verify age, handle cash, manage bar inventory, and ensure responsible service.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, take drink orders, and provide menu recommendations.
• Check identification to verify legal drinking age.
• Ensure the responsible service of alcohol, adhering to all regulations.
• Take beverage orders from guests and servers.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks (including specialty cocktails).
• Maintain a friendly and professional attitude with customers.
• Handle cash and process payments accurately.
• Wash and sterilize glassware.
• Present drink menus, make recommendations and answer questions about beverages.
• Receive and serve food orders to guests seated at the bar.
• Report equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to the restaurant manager.
• Assist restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant.
• Complete 100% of bartender opening, side work, shift change, closing duties and cleaning requirements.
• Monitor cleanliness of bar areas and ensure a safe environment.
