Porchlight, part of Union Square Hospitality Group in New York, is seeking a skilled Bartender to join our service team. You will handle beverage orders from dining room guests and bring deep knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and beverage offerings while leading on the floor.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience as a Bartender or beverage service role.
• Passion for wine, spirits, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• English fluency; additional languages helpful but not required.
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods; lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Support a culture of Enlightened Hospitality.
• Create a welcoming and hospitable environment for guests at the bar.
• Demonstrate knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and beverage offerings.
• Maintain fluency in all menu items and ingredients; suggest beverage pairings.
• Follow proper steps of service with grace and urgency.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and seating area.
• Communicate effectively with staff, management, and kitchen during service.
