Job summary

Wigle Whiskey Distillery in Pittsburgh is seeking a positive, self-motivated bartender to join the Front-of-House team. You will prepare cocktails, pour drinks, and ensure a legendary guest experience.

Qualifications include 21+ years old, liquor/wine knowledge, and a commitment to top-tier guest service. RAMP certification is required on day one. On-call shifts, evenings, weekends and holidays are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Working knowledge of liquors, beers, and wines.
• Strong guest service skills at all times.
• Obtain RAMP alcohol server certification on first day of hire.
• Able to perform basic math accurately and quickly.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating manuals.
• Understanding of food service principles and practices.
• Knowledge of back-of-house ordering and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Receives orders from patrons and wait staff.
• Prepares and serves liquor, cocktails, beer, and nonalcoholic drinks.
• Ensures garnishes are prepared before opening.
• Keeps the bar clean and organized.
• Displays glasses and liquor bottles attractively.
• Checks IDs to confirm legal drinking age.
• Refuses service to intoxicated or disruptive patrons.
• Places orders for liquor, beer, and bar supplies.
