Job summary

Artisanal Brewing Ventures (ABV) is seeking a Dishwasher to join a collaborative kitchen team in the Pittsburgh area. You will maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards for kitchen work areas, equipment, tableware, and utensils, supporting a safe dining and production environment.

We value team players who work quickly and carefully, follow health and safety guidelines, and are ready to lift up to 60 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced kitchen environments preferred.
• Ability to follow directions and health/safety guidelines.
• Capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 60 pounds.
• Must be able to work quickly, with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Clean wares including pots, pans, flatware, and glasses, by hand or using dishwashers.
• Correctly place and store clean equipment in assigned areas following food safety practices.
• Stock serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and other areas with necessary dishes.
• Clean and empty trash and recycling receptacles.
• Move dishwashing supplies and equipment as needed.
• Assist in cleaning and preparing foods for cooking as directed.
• Ensure work areas remain safe, clean, and compliant with health guidelines.
• Follow opening and closing duties as outlined in ABV guides.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
