Job summary

Barrel One Collective operates the Long Trail Brewery Pub and Visitor Center in Bridgewater Corners, VT, seeking a part-time Retail Assistant. You will greet guests, assist with merchandise, manage inventory, and ensure a smooth shopping experience.

This role requires weekend and evening availability in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment. You will handle POS transactions, fulfill web orders, and help maintain attractive displays while coordinating with Marketing, Finance, and Operations

Qualifications

Experience in retail or customer service required.
Comfort with POS systems and basic computer apps.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to multitask in a high-traffic setting.
Reliable, flexible; weekend/holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist guests in the retail area with friendly, knowledgeable service.
Operate the POS system accurately for purchases and returns.
Fulfill and package web orders in coordination with delivery services.
Ensure merchandise is properly labeled, displayed, and well-stocked.
Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing retail displays.
Receive shipments, assist with inventory counts, and communicate stock needs.
Support daily financial reconciliation and coordinate with the Finance team.
Collaborate with Marketing on promotional signage and merchandising strategies.
Communicate with Operations, Maintenance, and QA to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
