Job summary

Embassy Suites Washington D.C. Georgetown is seeking an experienced bartender to greet guests, take orders, prepare cocktails, wine and beer, and ensure exceptional service in a full-service restaurant and bar.

You will maintain beverage standards, knowledge of menu pairings, assist with inventory, and manage checkout using POS and OpenTable. This role requires strong communication and ability to work under pressure in a hotel dining environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of bartending at a full-service bar.
• Strong communication and guest-service skills.
• Ability to prioritize and remain hospitable under pressure.
• Knowledge of beverage standards and menu with wine pairing basics.
• Experience with POS and open-table reservations is a plus.
