Job summary

Peregrine Hospitality is seeking a Bartender to service guests across the restaurant, bar, and outlets. You will prepare drinks, maintain the bar, support servers, and ensure accurate POS transactions while upholding safety and quality standards.

Requirements include 1 year of bartending/barback experience, High School or higher education, and food safety certification. This role emphasizes efficiency, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience as barback or bartender in hotel or restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including garnishes, following service standards and guest preferences.
• Stay current on trends to create and present cocktail menu items to leadership.
• Anticipate guests’ needs, take orders using suggestive selling, respond promptly, and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Complete opening and closing duties, maintain bar stock levels, requisition supplies, and ensure all condiments, glassware, and equipment are ready for service.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area, promptly clean and reset stations after guest use, and oversee barbacks to ensure smooth operations.
• Record orders accurately in POS system, process payments following cash handling and credit policies, and manage tip collection and reporting.
• Maintain required certifications (e.g., TIPS, Food Safety), adhere to safety, security, and operational policies consistent with company standards.
• Collaborate effectively with co-workers and other departments to ensure efficient and quality service.
