Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate and understand English.
• Working knowledge of beer, wine and liquor and common drink recipes.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle money and operate a POS system.
• Ability to stand for long periods (up to 10 hours).
• Ability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Take beverage orders from guests and servers.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes.
• Learn guests by name and recognize regulars.
• Process payments and handle credit card charges.
• Prepare garnishes and replenish bar offerings.
• Maintain an attractive and clean bar area and inventory.
• Present drink menus and answer beverage questions.
• Assist with bar inventory and restocking.
• Assist in serving food orders at the bar.
• Report equipment problems to management.
