American Social - Fort Lauderdale is seeking an experienced Bartender to join our team. You will greet guests, guide drink and food orders, and confidently describe items on the menu while handling allergens and substitutions as needed.

Role requires 3 years of bartending, ability to work late-night shifts, and English fluency. You will work in a fast-paced environment, maintain accuracy, and ensure compliance with liquor laws while supporting both FOH and BOH operations.

Qualifications

• Must meet local, legal minimum age to serve alcoholic beverages.
• 3 years of experience as a Bartender.
• Ability to work Late Night shifts, potentially to between 12 AM – 4AM.
• Alcohol Awareness Certification required.
• Fluent in English; able to speak, read, write.
• Food handling certificate a plus.
• Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and courteously.
• Guide guests through beverage and food ordering, with suggestions.
• Describe and sell items on the menus, answer questions on ingredients, substitutions and allergens.
• Prepare drink orders for servers and guests; deliver beverages and food.
• Ensure orders are accurate and close guest experiences by collecting payment.
