Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a beverage service professional to prepare and serve beverages in the bar area, ensure guest satisfaction, and maintain compliance with liquor regulations. You will set up bars, stock supplies, greet guests, process drink orders, check IDs, and handle cash transactions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Sets up bars and stocks beer, wine, spirits, paper products, garnishes, glassware, ice and produce.
• Prepares and serves beverages to guests in bar area in a friendly, courteous and timely manner.
• Greets guests in a courteous, friendly manner.
• Takes and processes orders for drinks; mixes and presents drinks using standard recipes; controls portions.
• Checks IDs for proper identification.
• Detects and acts upon guest inebriation as trained; follows liquor laws.
• Receives cash from guests, makes change, and records charges.
• Locks up and stores all beverage products, cash, and equipment; secures bank.
• Performs general cleaning tasks to maintain health and safety standards; keeps area tidy.
• Arranges bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in the bar area.
