Job summary

SuViche Hospitality Group in Delray Beach, FL is seeking a bartender to deliver beverage service in a fast-paced setting. You will take orders, mix and serve drinks, and present menus to guests.

The role requires 21+ and front-of-house experience, cash handling skills and ability to work long hours, including weekends. You will maintain bar cleanliness and assist with food service as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to communicate in the restaurant's predominant language(s).
• Three years of front-of-house experience in service and/or assistant management positions.
• Strong math skills and the ability to operate a cash register or POS system.
• Able to stand for long periods (up to 10 hours).
• Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stamina to work 50 to 60 hours per week.
• Able to work in a fast paced, high stress environment while delivering on guest promises.

Responsibilities

• Take beverage orders from guests and servers.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks per standard recipes.
• Record drink orders accurately into the register system.
• Accept guest payments and process credit card charges.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar area and glassware.
• Present drink menus, make recommendations and answer questions.
• Stock bar inventory and replenish supplies.
• Assist with serving food orders to guests seated at the bar.
• Report equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to the manager.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure smooth operation.
• Provide a genuinely hospitable experience.
