Qualifications

• Must be 21+ to serve alcohol.
• 3+ years bartending experience in high-volume settings with craft cocktails.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Current CA Food Handler’s Card.
• Ability to communicate in English with guests and staff.
• Ability to perform basic math for orders and payments.
• Knowledge of bartender steps of service and KSC standards.

Responsibilities

• Take guests’ orders and suggestive selling.
• Input orders into POS; document when POS is down.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages at the bar.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.
• Open wine/champagne bottles and manage bar stock.
• Serve food courses and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Greet guests and respond promptly to needs and requests.
• Ensure bar is clean and glassware is sanitized.
• Balance cash and process payments accurately.
• Complete opening and closing duties as assigned.
