Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic Bartender to join our team in New York. The role focuses on delivering exceptional service, crafting beverages to guest preferences, and maintaining a polished bar environment.

Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of bartending experience, high standards for cleanliness, and a professional attitude that reflects our service culture. This position is tipped eligible and offers growth opportunities within SHG.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• At least 3 years in a bartending role.
• Bartending certification preferred.
• Alcohol awareness certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up bar with liquor, juices, crushes, additives, soda and other supplies.
• Keep bar, glasses and cutlery clean and sanitized.
• Ensure guests are of legal drinking age.
• Prepare drinks according to bar standards and guest preferences.
• Present bills and take payment.
• Engage and satisfy guests.
• Monitor guests for overconsumption and take steps as needed.
• Lock up and store all beverage, food and equipment; deposit cash drops and secure the bank.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
