Job summary

Makers Union, part of Thompson Hospitality, is seeking a Bartender to craft cocktails and beverages in a modern pub setting. You will engage guests, recommend drinks, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining a clean, efficient bar and strong service standards.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of experience, are legally eligible to serve alcohol, and can work flexible shifts including weekends and some holidays.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of bar experience preferred.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and multitask.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions.
• Must be of legal drinking age and able to obtain required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with creativity and precision.
• Interact with guests, provide recommendations, and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant bar area.
• Process drink orders accurately and handle cash transactions.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Stay updated on current beverage trends and menu offerings.
